I have always loved clothes! At least for me, a well-put-together ensemble that I feel comfortable in has the ability to lift my spirits and make me feel like I can take on whatever comes my way. It can help me let my inner princess or inner badass shine…maybe both at the same time! As you can see in the picture above, this little love affair with fashion started when I was just a wee tot. Complete joy on my face as I display my Sunday best!
With that said, it probably doesn’t surprise you that I decided to watch Next in Fashion on Netflix. I got my fashion fix, and so much more! I was so impressed with the designers and their attitudes for the first season! Creativity and positive vibes dominated! It was a win-win! More than that, though, It gave me hope! Without being too much of a spoiler, the kindest souls in the competition ended up at the top. They were absolutely delightful to watch, and I just really wanted them to succeed. It renewed in me that good people can and do succeed. Good people can and do come out on top. That sometimes, just sometimes, those who don’t cheat and put others down, who play fair, lift others up, and have loving spirits, can win! I don’t know about you, but I definitely can use that kind of message right now!
