Oh, sweet Kringle!
By Ashley

Today’s post will be short and oh-so deliciously sweet! I have to admit, I do love a dessert. However, I am a little picky as I do not like them super sweet. This past week, we went into Trader Joe’s, and at the front door, a mound of white paper bags sat flat on a table. They were not fancy and definitely did not scream, “Come and look at me!” However, Collin was immediately drawn to them and said, “Oh wow! It’s a Kringle!” “And?” I replied. “And, he said. “I ate these at this bakery (pointing to the bakery on the bag) in Wisconsin as a boy. They are so incredibly delicious!”

Now, you must understand that Collin’s sweet meter is off the charts! This is a man who adds sugar to his already-surgery cereal, who sweetens his coffee with sugar and sweet creamer, who orders a side of pancakes with his syrup…you get the point. So, naturally, I thought, I’ll be the judge of that.

The next morning for breakfast, I tasted my first ever Kringle pastry from Racine, Wisconsin. Oh my goodness! He was right. Soooo YUM!!! I don’t know if it’s because it is from a four-generation family-owned bakery or if it was made with some kind of cold, snowy Wisconsin magic, but I absolutely fell in love with a Kringle!!

Everyday love LOVES Danish Kringle’s from OH Danish Bakery!

I have included a picture of the front and back of the bag it came in. Take a second to read the family story. And, if you have a Trader Joe’s, I encourage you to see if they have this tasty pastry. And if you don’t, I think it would be worth ordering one! Their contact info is in the picture as well. 😀

Now, go forth, love, and eat Kringle!
